Firewall Buddy is the specialist firewall division of iTVerse Technology Services Ltd, a UK managed IT and cybersecurity provider — Cyber Essentials Plus certified, based in West Yorkshire. We got fed up watching the big-box resellers make firewall buying slow, corporate and confusing — so we built the shop we wished existed: buy the right Netgate product, get genuinely helpful advice, and speak to the same engineers who deploy these firewalls for our managed clients every week.

Our story
Firewall Buddy was born out of frustration. As iTVerse, we'd spent years deploying Netgate pfSense appliances for managed IT clients — alongside the networks, VPNs and Cyber Essentials environments around them — and loved the product: rock solid, endlessly configurable, genuinely enterprise-grade. But the buying experience? Clunky. Confusing. Slow. And when clients wanted to buy for themselves, they'd get lost in technical jargon or end up with the wrong product.
We figured there had to be a better way. A friendly, plain-English, UK-based shop that just makes it easy to buy the right Netgate product, get it delivered fast, and actually help you get it working. No jargon. No pushy sales. No waiting on hold to a call centre on another continent.

It runs on Netgate's own hardware (or your own x86 kit), it's endlessly configurable, and it punches way above its weight compared to the expensive "big brand" alternatives.
Netgate is the company behind pfSense Plus, and they make fantastic hardware appliances that ship with pfSense pre-installed and pre-configured to work out of the box. For businesses that want enterprise security without enterprise prices and complexity, there's genuinely nothing better.
